Clinical Course in Neurofeedback

Introductory Course in Neurofeedback Taught by Siegfried OthmerThis important one-day seminar will give practitioners a new way of looking at psychological and neurological problems. This model involves brain function in the bioelectrical domain as opposed to the neurochemical realm. The model has direct implications for therapy, leading to a new intervention around the principle of brain self-regulation. Neurofeedback / EEG Biofeedback can be integrated into existing practices. The practitioner will have the ability to draw on physiologically based as well as psychodynamic interventions. As a non-medical technique, Neurofeedback permits even non-medical professionals to address many conditions normally dealt with pharmacologically.

Sue Othmer's Protocol GuideProtocol Guide - for Establishing Placement and Frequency Protocols
This update of Sue's protocol decision tree reflects significant recent changes in integrating inter-
hemispheric with left and right side training. It also has expanded information on assessment. This valuable resource explains how to translate symptoms into optimal reward frequencies, how to choose training sites and what questions to ask and how to correctly interpret

EEG Biofeedback Educational MaterialsUnderstanding the Brain
Taught by Jeanette Norden - Vanderbilt University
This course is an excellent review of the knowledge for the 1 day Introduction to Neurofeedback.
This course, Understanding the Brain, takes you inside this astonishingly complex organ to show you how it works. Recent decades have seen unparalleled advances in understanding how the brain does what it does. Today we can pinpoint the specific regions, or nuclei, where some of life's most mysterious processes take place.
