To determine COM Port settings in Windows Vista:

1. Click on Windows Start button
   
   
2. Click in the Start Search box
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Type " Device Manager " in the Start Search box and hit Enter
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Scroll down to find the Ports listing in the Device Manager.
   Click on the + to reveal the available COM ports.
   
   
   
   
   In the configuration pictured above, the EEG NeuroAmp is on COM 26.
