| Connecting a Game Pad to Dual Drive Xtreme |

Question: I got a game pad, but I can't seem to hook up Dual Drive Extreme so that the controls work. I am still using the free sessions. Is it possible?
Answer: Yes, you can use the game controller even if you are still in the trial version of Dual Drive Xtreme.
Setting up the game pad:
1. Connect the game pad to any USB port on the PC. (USB drivers are built into windows XP and windows Vista so no need to install the extra drivers CD for this step)
2. If you are using the wireless game pad, install the batteries in the game pad. Also, there is a button on the box that connects to the PC. You will need to press that button to connect with the roving wireless pad.
3. Launch Dual drive - at the start up screen press "options" or during game play you can press Ctrl-O. To activate the game pad, un-check "computer steers car". Now you are in game pad mode and the car will come to a stop until the game pad is engaged.
4. To engage the game pad, press the 1 key on the game pad. This will engage the car with the game pad.
5. Once the car is engaged, the speed of the car is controlled by the brainwaves as usual, only the steering and direction of the car is controlled by the game controller.
6. If the client runs the car into a place where they can't get out, and the car is stuck, it will reset after 3 seconds, or you can press ctrl-R for reset on your keyboard to reset the car back on the track.
