changing sounds in alpha-theta
Views: 977
While we are developing new sounds for alpha-theta, and a new module to allow easy switching between sounds, for the time being, you can change the sounds manually simply by replacing the wav files that are currently behind the alpha-theta module in Cygnet. These current sounds can be found on your computer under:
:Local disk C
:Program Files
:Cygnet
:feedback
:audio
:AT_Sounds

Once you have navigated to the AT_Sounds folder, you will see the folders for each of the four sounds used for alpha-theta.

You can play the sound by double clicking on it.

Replace the sound in each folder by first changing the name of the existing file. For instance change "1.wav" to "1backup.wav"

Next, copy your new file into the folder, for instance copy wind.wav into the folder, then rename it to match the previous file name, for instance 1.wav.

The file needs to be in a wav format. Instructions for converting a file to wav format can be found online.
