Instructions for Advanced Media Player
1. Open Cygnet and select Advanced Media Player from the Feedback drop down menu.
2. When the Feedback menu opens (“Advanced Media Player: Select an Effect or Video Clip”), select the No Effect option from the “Effects” section.
3. The Cygnet Media Player window will open. Occasionally, the Cygnet Media Player window will be minimized on the Taskbar.
To Play a DVD:
Make sure you have a DVD in the disc drive and then press Play DVD on the Cygnet Media Player window.
From the Open Media window, press Play.
Wait for the DVD Root Menu to appear (allow DVD 30-60 seconds to start).
Press Play, Play Movie, Play All or select chapter from the DVD Root Menu on the Cygnet Media Player window.
To Play a File:
Select Play File on Cygnet Media window.
Select the file and press Play in Open Media window.
4. Move Cygnet Media Player to second monitor and maximize the window.
5. Next Choose a Feedback Effect from the “Advanced Media Player: Select an Effect or Video Clip” menu. A small gray box should appear on the screen, indicating that feedback is on and is waiting for data from Cygnet.
6. Using the Reward Slider on Cygnet select Reward Frequency

7. If you would like to set the Cygnet timer, select the amount of time you would like to train that particular site.
8. Press Play on Cygnet. The movie will play with the selected Feedback.
If you have set the timer, the movie will pause when the time is up and you will see the small gray box again.
If you are training another site, move the electrodes, press play on Cygnet and the movie will continue to play.
Before using Advanced Media Player:
Some Computers may be too Slow to Run Advanced Media Player
If you have a older computer you may need to upgrade.
DVD Discs:
Blu-Ray DVD"s will not work with Advanced Media Player.
Use only Clean Unscratched DVD Movies
Burned DVD movies will not play most likely
Close Cygnet Media Player, Try Another DVD if there the disk that you are trying to use isn't working.
To make sure that windows Auto Play for DVD and Enhanced DVD are set to take No action:

Adjust Screen Saver and power settings:
Screen Saver settings and Power Settings should be set so they will not kick in during sessions
It is recommended that Screen Savers be turned off (None) .

It is recommended Power settings, (eg. sleep, Hibernation, Dimming of the display, turning off of the display and powering off of the hard drive be set so so they do not interfere with feedback.
Recommend settings be set for at least 1 hour (2 is better). It is also recommended that laptops are always plugged into the AC power adapter (not on battery).
