If you get this message, you need to do a clean installation.
A clean installation means you uninstall Cygnet, then using the original Cygnet DVD with the 1.1.3.0 core on it, you reinstall the Cygnet core and the latest update following the steps below:
1. Make sure you have a Cygnet 1.1.3.0 DVD and the most recent Cygnet update already downloaded.
If you don't have the Cygnet DVD handy, give us a call and we can mail one out to you for the cost of shipping and handling if you previously purchased Cygnet.
2. Make sure you leave yourself plenty of time for installation and testing prior to any scheduled sessions.
3. Uninstall Cygnet with the following steps:
Click on the Windows Start Button
Click on Control Panel
Click on Uninstall Program (Add/remove programs if you are using windows XP)
RIGHT Click on Cygnet (or Highlight)
Click on Uninstall (or Click Remove)
Follow the Cygnet uninstall wizard until you have finished.
If for some reason cygnet is not in the uninstall program list there are 2 other ways to uninstall Cygnet:
Uninstall Option 2:
Click on windows start button
All Programs
Cygnet Folder
Click on Uninstall Cygnet
If it says empty in Cygnet folder go to uninstall option 3.
Uninstall Option 3
Browse to C:Program FilesCygnet
locate unins000
CLOSE C:Program FilesCygnet ( before you click yes)
Are you sure you want to completely uninstall Cygnet and all of its components?
Click Yes
Browse to C:Program Files
Right Click and then click Delete on the Cygnet folder
Note: Recorded session and custom pics in Roller Ball will be lost when Cygnet Folder is deleted.
Unplug Neuroamp from computer
Install Cygnet 1.1.3.0 core
Then install Cygnet update (locate and install the most recent update)
After the update has finished Plug Neuroamp back into the computer.
Give it a min or 2 to update the Neuroamp driver and then Open Cygnet.
