Power Point Files, a brief description:

ADHD--- Cartoons that tell the story. I have not obtained copyrights to use any of these cartoons, so folks are on their own in that regard. It might be ok to use them in a presentation once, but it would not be ok to publish them anywhere.

ADHD Presentation Malibu A talk directed to parents of ADHD children.

ADHD An early presentation about ADHD. Contains data from Thomas Fuchs’ dissertation.

Assessment This file pulls together assessment data from TOVA and IQ tests, plus other cognitive skills testing. One can pull slides from this as needed to insert into other presentations.

Autism Nov 2000 An early presentation on autism that is somewhat short on data. Needs updating.

Brian A few pictures of our son Brian.

Epilepsy These slides cover the research history of the field with respect to epilepsy.

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome An early talk on FAS. It lacks data.

Introduction An introductory talk that introduces the breadth of applicability of neurofeedback. It leads naturally into a presentation of assessment data from the assessment file.

Presentation to the Oregon Psychological Association, 2003: You may want to pick from this presentation if you are facing a professional
audience. This one contains some data (with respect to schizophrenia and violent offenders) that are not contained in any other on this CD.

MMVR Presentation This is a summary of neurofeedback intended for professionals. It was given at a conference on virtual reality developments for medical applications.

Neurofeedback for Addictions This is a talk I prepared for presentation to researchers in the field of addictions. It contains data from the CRI-Help study.

Neurofeedback for the Compromised Brain This is essentially a talk about traumatic brain injury, placed in a somewhat larger context.

Optimum Performance for Pilots This was a presentation to Mexican health ministry officials in Mexico City. The overt topic was optimum performance, but the real target was alcoholism among pilots and air controllers. This is not a uniquely Mexican problem, obviously, it’s just that the Mexican airlines unions were out in front in dealing with it----until that infamous September 11!

Resilience Presentation This presentation was given at a conference of judges in the juvenile justice system. One intriguing model for neurofeedback is to propose it as training in resilience, which is by now a well-researched area of psychology.

Resources This compiles a number of slides showing books and articles of interest. These slides can simply be copied and pasted as needed into custom presentations.

Road to Relaxation I was invited to give this talk at an annual Health Fair co-produced by USC and the Los Angeles Times. It puts neurofeedback in the context of more traditional biofeedback.

Soothing the Savage Student One formulation of our thrust toward dealing with the Unreachable Child.

Structure versus Function This talk deals with the transition toward functional medicine, and the role of neurofeedback in that transition.

The Bipolar Child A presentation that overlaps somewhat with the “Soothing the Savage Student” above.

Training for the Aging Brain Presents the opportunities for addressing the problems of aging with neurofeedback

Violence Presentation Another version of our approach to the Unreachable Child.
