Installing EEG Info USB NeuroAmp Drivers

How to Install USB NeuroAMP

1. FIRST install  Cygnet, or Download and extract the drivers from the web – Do not plug in NeuroAmp until the drivers are downloaded and extracted.

2. Choose "open" or "run" when prompted.

3. Files will be automatically extracted to C:Program FilesEEGNeuroAmp_Drivers

4. Plug in NeuroAmp into any available USB port

5. Wait for the "Found New Hardware Wizard" to appear

6. If the Wizard asks you to connect to Windows update select "No Not This Time" and click "Next".

7. Choose "Install from a list or specific location" and then click "Next".

8. Check the box marked "Include this location in the search" and then press "Browse"

9. Browse "My Computer" to "Local Disk C" to "Program Files" to "EEG". Select "Neuroamp_Drivers" and press "OK"

10. Press "Next" to install from the specified location.

11. You will get a "has not passed Windows Certification Logo Testing" warning box. Simply click "Continue Anyway".

12. Click "Finish" to continue on to the next part of the installation.

13. The "Add New Hardware Wizard" will come up a second time. This is normal and expected as the NeuroAmp requires 2 sets of drivers. Repeat steps 5 - 12 above to complete drivers installation.

14. Review the following articles below to find what COM Port your USB NeuroAmp is assigned to and to add the NeuroAmp as a Device in BioExplorer.
