EEG INFO Designs for BioExplorer
There are 4 primary design themes:
1. High and Low Inhibits. This is similar to the wide inhibit design for clinicians who are used to the displays on other systems that display four traces: raw, low inhibit, reward, high inhibit.
2. The new multiple inhibit designs show only the raw trace on the oscilloscope. Because there are now so many filtered traces, these are displayed with bars at the bottom of the screen.
3. Multiple inhibits and trends. This is a modification of the multiple inhibit design to give trend tracking. Measured average numbers are displayed over each of the inhibits to show the average microvolt reading over the last 30 seconds. Colored boxes are displayed to show the trend of each inhibit bar (blue box means EEG trending down, yellow box means EEG trending up - colors are based on the spectral display which shows yellow for high amplitude
and blue or black for low amplitude). Additionally a 5 minute spectrogram is displayed on the right side to show a longer view of overall trend patters.
4. Two Channel designs with simultaneous sum and difference. This represents our latest thinking in two channel work, and is a brand new way to think about the math behind two channels.
Each of these design types is then duplicated multiple times to support each of the different games:
