EEG INFO Neuroamp install repeats over and over with the error message "the system cannot find the file specified"
Quesion: Today, I had to install a different NeuroAmp on my computer. The installation process finished with the error message: "the system cannot find the file specified". Then the installation started over and over with the same result.

Answer: The solution is a missing registry entry (might have been removed by some other software, uninstaller or whatever).

To restore this Key, simply run this file: registry key

or if you wish to update your registry manually, here are the steps that you can follow:

- Go to Start » Run and enter "regedit."
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion
- With CurrentVersion Highlighted, go to the Edit menu and select New » Key
- Name the key RunOnce, leaving everything else about the key alone.
- The RunOnce key should now exist underneath the CurrentVersion key.
- Once the key exists, Windows 2000/XP stops redetecting the Hardware
