If it says "serial number is 0" this is a firmware or battery issue.

- make sure the battery is charged, turn it on and off, or send to brainmaster for a firmware reset.

 

If it says "serial number is Zero" (where zero is spelled out) then it is a communication error. Check if it is a USB to serial adaptor.
