BrainMaster Deep States (Alpha-Theta) Training

EEG Institute, July 2004

Requires Alpha-Theta Deep States Sound Module and AVI Module

Create folder with Deep settings file

Use referential Pz-A2 (right ear) placement with A1 (left ear) ground

Client should be comfortably reclined with eyes closed. Feedback is auditory only

Select Run the Next Session

Select Window, open and resize Thermos and TrendView

Select Window and AVI Extensions

Double click on EEG Audio and close ExtraAVI window

Press GO to start session

In EEG Audio window, click on Start Session to begin auditory feedback

The default reward sounds are a chime when alpha exceeds threshold and a deeper gong sound when theta is over threshold.

Reward sounds are withheld when any inhibit band amplitude exceeds threshold.

The default background sounds are running water when alpha is dominant and ocean surf when theta is dominant. The background sounds shift slowly to help sustain deep states.

To end session, select Stop Session in EEG Audio window and STOP or Close in training screen.
