Changing MP3 audio in Inner Tube is an advanced operation. Please make sure you are comfortable with the following concepts before proceding:
* copying MP3 music files into a specific folder.
* editing a text file that holds the control parameters for inner tube.
* making a back-up of existing files to protect against a typo or formatting error which might prevent your software from working properly.
Step 1. Copy the Audio that you want to use with inner tube into:
C:
Program Files
Inner Tube BE
audio
(this refers to the BioExplorer version of inner tube, if you have a different version of inner tube the folder might end in something other than "BE").

|
|
|
| |
Right click on the music file to copy and choose "copy" |
|
Locate C: Program Files Inner Tube BE audio right click in a blank space and choose "paste" |
Step 1a. You might wish to rename the file to something very simple. In the next step it will be necessary to retype this name exactly in a text file, so if it's overly complicated with spaces and dashes, this makes your job more difficult.
Step 2. Locate the inner tube "tld" control files.
browse to C:
Program Files
Inner Tube BE
settings

Step 3. Make a backup of the file you wish to change.
each TLD file represents a different Packs (the 4 rocket ships). The first "tld" file is the standard pack, the "tld_pack1" is the second rocket ship, etc.
|
|
 |
copy the file with "right click" and "copy" |
paste the file with a "right click" in the white space and "paste" to create a "copy of tld_pack1.txt" |
Step 4. Edit the file to reflect the name of the music that you added to the inner tube audio folder.
*open the file tld_pack1.txt (to edit Pack 1).
*locate the level number for the level you want to change (1,2,3 etc. ... )
*find the file in the line that ends with .mp3 and change that to your mp3 file.
 |
 |
| find the mp3 file in the tld_pack |
rename the file to your own mp3. |
Step 5. Test it out. Try the level that you changed. If you hear your music, congratulations. If not, come back and check that you typed the name correctly, and left no spaces. Follow these steps again to change as many music files in inner tube as you like.
