If you do not see Fog in inner tube you must update your video drivers. You must search for your brand of video card, or your brand of laptop or desktop and find the latest drivers. If you are not comfortable updating your drivers you should find a computer tech friend to help you with this. You could also purchase a new video card if you are using a desktop. A new video card will make Inner Tube (and BioExplorer) run faster and smoother (and make Inner Tube much more beautiful).
To upgrade your video drivers, first identify your current video card through the device manager (right click on the my computer icon / left click on properties / left click on hardware / left click on device manager )
In device manager, click on the plus sign next to "display adaptors" - note the name and type of video card. If you have an nvidia card, download the new drivers here If you have an ATI card, look up your drivers here. If you have another type of card, go to www.google.com to search for your video card brand and type. Download and install the drivers.
This fog is an important part of the inhibit and should roll in if inhibit is exceeded. If inhibit is exceeded for a longer period (~2 seconds) of time the screen will go completely black.
If you cannot update your video card, or updating does not solve this problem you can continue to use Inner Tube without Fog by setting the Inner Tube "Custom Settings" (File->Custom Settings).
Change the "Custom Settings" so that anything that does not say "none" (no link) is linked to the one measurement you are training. If you are training EEG set this to link to "combined" so that ship speed and exhaust respond to the "combined " reward and inhibit (both criteria must be met).
This way the ship speed (and exhaust and music volume) will show the inhibit and reward together. Otherwise if the ship speed only responds to the reward and the fog responds to inhibit you will get less inhibit data owing to the missing fog.
But, basically, please update your video drivers so that you can have the full experience. If you are not able to do this yourself please find help from your computer manufacturer / distributor.
