These instructions apply to Cygnet ver. 1.1.3.35 or later ONLY. For early versions of Cygnet click here.

To transfer Somatic Vision games to a different computer, or in cases where you need to erase your PC and reinstall the system, the original installation must first be deactivated using the Somatic Vision deactivation/transfer tool:

Click on Windows Start Button

Click on All Programs

Click on Cygnet Folder

Click on Register Game Folder

Click on Game De-Registration

"Would You like to deactivate a serial number so that it may be activated on a different Computer"

Click Yes.

Write down codes that are in the list.

Click in the check Box(es) of the game code(s) that you wish to deactivate.

Click OK. (Games will be deactivated after you click OK)

"Deactivation Successful. Copy and Paste this serial code into a document to ensure you have the correct serial number ready for activation on the new computer."

Be sure to Save document when you are done.

Uses for Deactivation Tool:
When moving game to a different computer
When restoring windows to a previous restore point
When planning on reinstalling Windows and games on the same computer
When moving game registration to a different User account on the same computer. Games can only can be registered on one user account

REGISTRATION of Somatic Vision Games (See Help file)
A serial number will only register a product on a single computer. If you wish to use multiple computers please purchase additional serial numbers.

Click on the Windows Start Button (bottom left-hand corner of your screen)
Locate the Cygnet folder under "All Programs," then choose "Help for games"
Click on the game help file i.e. Dual DriveX Help
