Vertigo appears to be another episodic paroxysmal event, or “brain storm,” that we can understand by analogy to seizures. If the momentary tempest in our neuronal networks affects our vestibular system (with which we maintain our balance), we may well experience vertigo. Neurofeedback / EEG Biofeedback can help to stabilize the brain against the storms and tempests in the networks, and by extension then bring about the subsidence of vertigo episodes.

Traditional biofeedback techniques have been helpful with this condition, but neurofeedback may well be appropriate also, in that we may well be dealing with one of the consequences of trauma.
